Toyota are recalling 2 miilion cars from Europe, that were built from 2005 to this month, with a problem to the accelerator pedals. Be interested to see how the suppliers here deal with it - if they even know about it!!

I thought most Toyotas here were Japanese imports and Toyota are not recalling their cars in Japan. Different parts suppliers used in Europe. The recall in Europe has now also spread to include Honda and Peugeot.

Whilst second hand cars are often from Japan, Toyotas sold from new here are not from Japan, most are from Turkey. The very popular Toyota Corolla Verso model is from Turkey.



So please do take your car along to Ercantan Lefkosa for remedial work.
