nefrostomy - should be 'nephrostomy' - a passageway maintained by a tube (or stent) *



You can look up these terms on google which obviously gives details. If Nurse Chris reads this, she'll be able to explain these terms to you.

Biliary stend = biliary stent used to treat obstructions in the bile duct

Triflo = could be a catheter or urine drainage system

Nefrostomy = could be Nephrostomy = an artificial opening between the kidney and the skin where as stent would be used for the drainage of urine
