I have a 60cc EASYKART which i purchased at the weekend at an auction at the Golden tulip. If there are any budding racing drivers out there between the ages of 7 ad 12 and fancy there chances at racing in the championship this season i am willing to help with the kart i have. You would need to be able to pay for your entrys to the race and fuel including tyres as required. The kart would be prepared by me as i would be racing at the same events. There are 6 races this year and the winner of the championship will be entitled to go and represent Cyprus in Italy with all expeses paid at the EASYKART world finals.



The driver will be required to purchase helmet suit and boots for the competition and a race licence.



I will give assistance to the driver for on track training etc to get up to speed.

The following are the dates for the Championship.



27-28 Şubat 2010

03-04 Nisan 2010

01-02 Mayıs 2010

29-30 Mayıs 2010

18-19 Eylül ( Double Header ) 2010



The first event will be missed as there is not enough time to be ready.

I think it's a season long commitment Mrwilson is looking for.

There are also hire karts at the track for the public.

Not sure how many, but great fun if a few of you go down to the track, when it's open

I have a further update on the driver programme.



We have a meeting on Tuesday at 11.00am at zet karting where the youung drivers are going to photographed with the kart and going to have there first testing session. Living magazine and the local newspapers including the local television p.



We have received 2 sponsors to date for the driver. These sponsors will be having there name on the kart and the drivers overalls. They will also be mentioned in living magazine as they are covering the driver and the season so everybody can monitor his progress.



The cost of sponsoring the driver is £100 sterling and this will go towards entrys tyres and general running costs of the kart.



If you are interested in sponsoring the driver please either reply to this thread or be at Zet Karting for 11.00 am Tuesday morning where you can meet the drivers and we can complete the sponsorship form and give you details to have transfers made.

The entrys for drivers is now closed, We have 3 drivers who we will now test and make our decision who is going to be the driver this year.

I still have space on the kart for advertisiing for the year and sponsoring this young driver.



We are looking for £100 per sponsor, This will give you a sticker on the kart and be mentioned at all events and listed in the above news columns. You may also have you name embroidered on the race overalls.

We currently have 5 sponsors for the new driver.



Is there no more of you out there who would like to see a young driver compete and you can be part of it. You do not have to be a business you can just support him.



Please just a few more sponsors and we are set for the year.

Further testing today, Then the driver will be announced who is going to racing this year. This will also be shown in the papers next week.



We are currently doing very well with sponsors although there is still room for more. If there is anybody out there who would like to back our young driver please call.

We have our driver. Please look out in the papers for him to be announced. We have a media day tomorrow at 11,00am if there is anybody who would like to see what we have done so far.



The event tomorrow is Zet Karting.



If the weather is good the new driver will be demonstrating his skiills.



It would be nice to see some support, Please come along.

Please dont forget today is the first official day of the new sponsored driver at Zet karting. He has been sponsored by various people and if the track stays dry he will be driving today.

I Currenty have £1500 in sponsorship for this young driver. Thanks to those who have come forward.



We where covered in 8 newspapers today and Living magazine have taken main sponsorship for this driver, They will be covering him in the next magazine released in March.
