| I think it's more important that Turkish is becoming recognised as being as important as the other languages listed. If they didn't think Turks were watching it, they wouldn't bother. |

| Turkey has strong connections with Europe ,especially with Germany,so many will have an interest. Russia also has strong links with Europe.,which is why it has probably nothing to do with the EU. Euro news is a european newspaper not a EU one, which is probably why only 5 languages out of 27 EU are included but Turkish and Russian are.. Wonder how long before ROC and Greece complain about Turkish being included but not Greek. |
