Hay hay in Karakum (in the row of shops next to the K-Pet petrol station) could certainly make a replacement cover.

Any of the local carpenters ought to able to fashion a replacement wooden section. Presumably you have enough left of the original to act as a pattern?

For re-covering there is a shop on the main road Karakum/Ozankoy. They made and fitted a new cover for my boat and made a new cover for my neighbour's gazebo. We both took our original (but torn) covers and they made very good duplicates. Mine was 60tl and my neighbours was about 400tl - but the gazebo was large and complicated.

I don't know the name but the shop is on the left among a parade of 6 or so shops about 1 mile out of Girne on the way to Catalkoy and opposite Lapis Development. It is the 2nd or 3rd shop. Hope this is enough but it is a long time since I was out that way. I seem to vaguely remember that it is just before the K-Pet petrol station but don't take that as gospel.

Agree with Jovial John

Hay hay is a small family run business.

We also needed a new cover for our gazebo as our old one had torn beyond repair(plastic/nylon type).

Took the old one in and he showed us photo's of one's that he had fitted for other customers.

Even though he kept the old one for measurements he still came out to us in Karsiyaka to measure the frame.

Very pleased with the canvas one he made us.

Reasonable prices and nice people to deal with.
