I noticed that the our 'friends on the other side' the Cyprus hate forum are making lists.



Some well known charaters from here they have been earmarked.

Well, it's assumed that there are two big groups in Cyprus: the people in the north (normal people, but they are like the bad guys in the movie) and the people in the south (radical, but they are the "good ones" out there).



But there are, in fact, 3 social groups in Cyprus: the normal people in the North, the normal people in the South and the radical people in the South.



The normal people in the south wouldn't waste their time making lists out of this forum. BUT the radicals, I'm sure they are making lists. They are obsessed with the information about their "enemies".



I would prefer that this forum was like other normal forums where you can, or not, write your real data, and also upload any image (avatar) for your profile, without passing any "censorship" from the administrators.



It may sound funny, but my first though when I was signing up in this forum, seeing how strict are the rules here, was that it was created by GC to obtain information about the ex-pats living in T

The only way you can have a problem is if you still own property in europe. if you dont. dont worry. the southerners wont be getting anywhere with you. they wont be laying claim to your property here. The turks made great sacrifice to make this side of the island safe for their people from the south and I would not think for a second that they will be giving any of it back to them. any member of the other side who comes to claim anything here will be making a 1 way trip or leaving dissapointed. I know many turkish people who's relatives fought for this place and not 1 of them would let it have been ultimately for nothing.

Could someone advise me as to what the lists are about? Is this going to be a guerilla army coming over from the south to 'get you all'. Many of the people listed are indeed, not here, and I am intrigued as to how the compiler of the list KNOWS that the land on which these people purportedly own property is former GC land. How on earth could anyone from outside the island know? Has someone in the Kaymakan taken a back hander? Has someone in Government here sold a list? Or is this a random collection from here and there.

I can understand people being angry over something which they cannot control, but the imbalance of feelings and the sense of Human Rights being one sided is another matter and gains no points over anything.

I know the names of two people on the list, plus there appears to be a Clergyman from Ely, who I believe does NOT ownproperty here any more (not sure about that) and again I ask, what is anyone going to do. Swim into the harbour with bayonet fixed? What?

Marie, I doubt they get out much so you need not worry. They sit in their rooms dreaming of hacking into Nasa and the like but so far their talents only range to hacking minor websites and trawling the web. If you can, find it in your heart feel sorry for them and so many other delusional kids from all over the world. As for their diatribe on the Cyprus problem, this is all part of the illness, along with their suffix professor, instructor, and V I P - they wish.

I agree with Troodo, and I DO feel sorry for anyone whose hearts and minds are full of hatred, bitterness and evil thoughts towards others. Maybe if more people understood repentance (feeling GENUINELY sorry) and forgiveness the leaders might stand a chance of making a decision in which trhey would be backed by their people. Seems this is not possible while such hatred exists. And if they are young people, then what bodes for the future????

Surely at the end of the day what everyone wants is 'quality of life and equality within the correct understanding of human rights'.

Unfortunately feeling sorry for people is not a way forward, it is those people who need to try to see their own future in 10 years time. Ouch!

I think that these persons who are making lists should seriously consider the european law upon libel.

British law which is indeed noe enforceable in the ROC Courts is there to offer protection from libel and defamation.



If anyone can identify persons that are partacking in any deformation or libelous action, particularly of the sort on the Cyprus Forum then there are many very ready to seek recourse in the ROC Courts.

The Cyprus-Forum is indeed inhabited by some very bitter and sad people. It is clear and easy to identlfy some that have been or are presently in the UK.

What do these people really hope to gain from their slanderous and filthy comments. I refrain from dialogue with these people whilst they are so full of xenophobic hatred and seek revenge upon anyone who they consider to be a target.

It is some comfort that a few particular members of that forum simply do not have the intelligence, aptitude or will to see settlement, peace or convergence. Very sad indeed but like us all they are mere mortals and will fade into history without any significant conribution to Cyprus or its ever cosmopolitan populus.
