Do not know the paper work required but a strong warning. Before handing anything over check that all the details on the vehicle kocan match those of the vehicle ie engine no, vin number etc. Friend did not and found them selves with a car that was not legally theirs and original owner had gone back to UK.

Roxy; Why didn't you ask me this yesterday? Go to Muktar with person who is selling, he should have the transfer form. Take yours and sellers passports with you, Muktar will fill in the form possibly for a small charge. Advisable you both go to Lefkosia to affect the transfer. To be safe take copies of visa page in the passport. You will also need stamps at the office but I can't recall the value. They actually sell the stamps at the old license office on the one way street. By the way, an ASCOT is both a tie and a bunnet! News.

I belive there are several Muktars in Lapta, but we used the one in the village, almost next to the Buse Market (don,t know if that's the correct spelling) In the Barbers Shop.on the same side as the supermarket, not the barbers opposite.
