No please don't let an english breadmaker arrive lol, bread and lurpak are my downfall but I don't like the bread over there and can't get lurpak so the weight drops off me, I have put a stone on in the 2 months I have been back in the UK...I need to come back and lose it again lol.

Couldn,t agree more please don,t let a british baker arrive, we must have the best bread in the world here in TRNC, and so cheap.

Tempos big round loaf 3 lira Superb, and Atakaras corn bread , in fact we find most of the local bread here excellent.

Dee we get Lurpak, can,t remember wich supermarket but will keep my eye open.

Hi pogle , yes that would be great ....i will send you an email after i write this .

Hi johnny , i agree about local bread being the best , i love it too , I just need a 'masterbaker' to assist me in helping the local bakers to get the correct spec i need for a particular type of bread which i need for a particular restaurant product.

Lurpak is available in nearly all the supermarkets so I don't know where Dee is looking but it obviously is not in the butter section! lol

Also needed for Tommy's advisory board (I heard from unreliable sources): an Italian master pizza baker, a French Eiffel Tower builder and a Dutch master skate designer. Anyone..?

I know you guys all love the Turkish bread but it has nutritional value zero and sends us carbo-addicts into overdrive. We need some good whole grain/brown breads here, there are some available but the usual hunt to buy them.

RE msg 13, tommy13: (...) I need someone anglish speaking (...)

=> Now you have a problem! The Angles died out or were integrated in the British population many centuries ago. However, there are some Brits and other Europeans at Oxford who still can speak and read Anglish. If you need any other specialists, speaking the old and almost forgotten languages of the British isles - I may be able to put you on the right track.

My husband is a British baker with over 50 years of experience in food industry, still writing for the "British Baker" magazine .

You can ask him any questions about the subject.
