| I have a 6000CD RDS E.O.N CD Radio fitted in my Ford Focus. It has locked out, Need info on how to unblock. Anyone out there know how to do it. |

| My hubbies in the motor trade and says you need to take it to a ford garage to have it unlocked. They are all individually coded these days. |

| If you take the radio out 9 times out of 10 the code is written on top of it. mine was and many more I have seen. you can get it out with really thin screwdrivers inserted into the 4 holes and moved across. |

Ford will charge you for doing it something like £25 for the service !

| I had the same problem recently, you need the seriel code from the back of stereo, I tried to use coat hangers to get radio out, but in the end had to buy fork type things from Halfords- not much help if your in TRNC. then googled radio codes for a focus, and some guy asked for the serial number , and sent it in an email, and it worked. Some sites asked for money. If you want the contact I can find it for you.

| A few years ago I bought a Honda Accord at auction. The original rc player had been replaced and I didn't have the code. A friend told me it had happened to him. He'd been advised to wrap it securely in cling film and put it in the freezer for 72 hours.

| Mine was locked out and I took it to the Ford dealer in Nicosia and he showed me where the code was.
