| import = bringing something in. export = taking something out. It follows that you can't pay import tax on something you take out. |

| I no that vaughan but i will be in the uk so that will be importing will it not .I am exporting from hear so will i have to pay for importing used items in to uk. |

| mrland, I paid everything that was due to go out to NC but paid nothing to bring the same household goods back to UK albeit some 10 years ago, but had no problem at all, everything was paid up front before I left. The only problem I had was they did not tell me that the ship would not leave Famagusta until fully laden so I waited approx 6 weeks before my goods arrived. I went to Felixstowe and picked the goods up myself after going through customs(well an agent). I used Euromed at the time. |
