Thoroughly recommend it. Driving from Girne head out towards Çatalkoy, from Çatalkoy keep heading East and up the mountain passing the turn for Esentepe/Tatlisu on left hand side. You will pass KAR on LHS about 3/4 of way up mountain and then see the Buffavento restaurant on LHS at the top. Telephone number is 0533 864 5388

we`ve been several times, unique setting, great people and service, souper food and inexpensive, a must!!!



Dont turn left a t Catalkoy/ Acapulco just go up and up the mountain for a few miles and you will see the place at the summit by the left.

Was there last Friday week past and and had a wonderful meal with great service and very pleasent staff.

There were 3 wood and 1 gas fire going and I can say with hand on heart that it was a great evening.

The last time I was there was about 3 years ago or could be longer when it was very small but the decor

is now first class.

It's at the top of the Five Finger mountain above the Kyrenia Animal rescue centre which is the only draw back to going there as you have to come back down that road,so dont drink too much.

During the day you get fabulous views, in the evening, at this time of year it is warm and cosy feeling. Only downside is you have to go outside to get to the loos - not great if it is blowing a gale.
