| Hi, me and my family are planning on moving to North Cyprus near the end of this year. The reason being is we want to start a new life with a fresh start. We have had a look at all the need to knows, schools etc but would like to have a secure job before I come out to live there. I am multi-skilled in quiet a few areas and pick up on new things quickly. Very hard working always giving 100% in everything I do. Friendly with a very smart apperence. I have a Foundation Construction Award, English Language & English Literature GCSE's both at D's, Maths at GCSE level E, Science Double Award at D, Business Double Award at E, BTEC Intro into Construction & currently working on more Grades in Media at the moment. I have knowledge in Basic Construction, Painting & Decorating, Maintence Work, Sales Services, Admin work, Gardening, Football Training, Media work, Basic Website Design, Graphic Design using Adobe Photoshop, Computer software knowledge & more. Thanks for reading

Kelvin Good luck in finding a job. Keep checking this board as sometimes vacancies are advertised here. However, I must say it is difficult finding any legal employment here as so difficult for us expats to get a work permit here. All the best Jayne

when you pay your taxes every month you contribute to a pension so you can retire hear after 20 years they now have stopped the pension for the brits so if you have been paying this you should try to get a refund

its very difficult kelvin, wages are so low if you do get a job.As the children are very young they may be able to go to local schools which are free.I wish you all the luck in the world.

Thats the Provident Fund. They stopped paying this for foreigners in January 2009. However that is only if you got a work permit via getting a pre-permit after Jan 09, if you already had one and just extended it then this does not apply to you and your provident fund should still be paid. If you did get a new permit via pre-permit after Jan 09 then you can claim back all that was paid in the past indeed. However they do not know yet when they are going to start paying people off. Spoke to them last week. 0392 2283754 - TPS Department

Fazo if you could let us know i would be very grateful, as its not peanuts. Kelvin most work on minimum wage which at present is 1270tl month which is roughly 500 pounds, then you have to take social security out. Its a minefield with permits etc/ xx
