Need a new fridge - are auctions worth a try?

Need new fridge for place in Catalkoy and I've been told to check out auctios as a good source of quality second hand white goods. Anyone know which auctions are being held 18 - 24th Feb and if poss to find a catalogue??

Hi Smiffy,

Try "Spot" basement of flats.

Last on the left going towards Girne New harbour,

where the ferries depart/arrive.

They have various fridges, new, but not full price.

Worth a look.

Sunday is the next auction in Ozankoy and yes you can pick up a good bargain depending on what is on offer and who is bidding.

There is also a second hand furniture shop in Karakum, on the corner of the road that leads to The Secret Terrace and Soho Lounge. I have seen fridges and freezers there.
