Does anyone know anything about this?

How much for an 8x4 pool approx?

Is it viable?

Does anyone have one? Would you recommend it?

Hi, my name is Peter, Iam the commercial who sells them and I recommend solar pool pumping

PV solar mudules are installed on a stand and connected to a MPPT pump controller. a pool pump, manufactured by "SPECK" and equipped with a brushless DC drive motor, is installed to the pool. thats it. sun up, pump runs, sun down, pump stops.

technic/warranties and so on: very reliable, installation: no prob. PV (solar power) prices are lower as in the past, so payback after approx 5-6 years. DIY kit (PV modules and pump, solar cables, bits and pieces without installation in poolroom and stands) between 2700 and 3600 euros.

For ( solar ) pool pumping (size of PV power) the tonnage of your pool is important. 8x4 and in average 1,6 meter depth? = 51 tons. balance tank? you should end up with approx 2700-3000 euros.

to be seen eg in Lapta. info@kibsolar.com
