Darling say no we won't reported by BBC today

But Lamonts comments are interesting However former Conservative chancellor Lord Lamont today warned that a European bail-out could be technically illegal.

He told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: 'I think (Greece) will be in desperate trouble if they don't have a bail-out. I can see their vanity and their credibility will be affected if it's an IMF bail-out.

'So I think ultimately it will be a European bail-out. But the problem is that that is really illegal under the Maastricht Treaty. And they will have to find a way round that.'

Some warn that the cost of any bail out will be spread among all 27 parts of the eussr by equalling the %age of each countries contribution to the eussr budget.

Britain pays in roughly 21% so their contribution will be that %age of the total.

And Britain isn't even in the eurozone!

Bloody politicians.

That said; Britain is broke so we'll have to borrow the money from someone to pay off someone elses debt.

Who'll help the UK when it's our turn?

eussr?

I think not. Remember 1992.

The UK government will not be lending a penny to bail out Greece, this is a Eurozone problem and will be dealt with by Eurozone member states.

After Dover to the French, how much do you Brits want for London (including the suburbs of course)?
