| I went to Poland & Czech Republic in January both very nice countries both non Euro-zone Poland considerably cheaper Prague about provincial UK prices A friend went at the same time to Paris small cafe 8 euro coffee An expensive capital city but look at the French unemployment they have rioted over it 12 months ago so a problem He had a free hotel and flights for his Paris It cost more than my Prague trip Oh there were 3 of us in Prague only 2 in Paris The PIIGS cannot be in the same currency neither can may other EU currencies without crippling their respective countries trying to match the German economy |
