Is there any supermarket that sells wholemeal flour, if there is what is the Turkish name for it

You can find this in most of the supermarkets. It is in a brown paper bag with the name SOKE Kepekli UN

Isn't that just bran flour or is that what the Turkish equivalent of wholemeal flour is?

its the nearest you will get to wholemeal flour and its very good, i sometimes make wholemeal and cheese scones with it come out a treat
