I was wondering ... or just being lazy! has anyone compiled a list of useful numbers you might need especially for emergencies:

doctor, hospital, police, fire, belediye, electricity, water etc. etc. and any others I haven't thought of.



I know there'll be some nos. that'll be dependent upon your location but I just wondered if there was some general 'central' list, to keep handy in case you ever need it.

The Buzz Book is for ex pats and has been going for years and gets better. You will find it in some shops or bars, hairdressers but never learnt where the main collection point is.

you can also call 192 and get any number you want from there. they even have english speaking personell.
