| ANNOUNCING THE NEXT MCF-LECTURE
==========================
On request of TRNC residents, who were not able to attend this lecture in 2008, Hans Doeleman (founder of the Medieval Cyprus Fellowship, MCF) will again deliver his illustrated introduction to "The Secrets of St Hilarion Castle".
It will be a much extended version of the 2008 reading (with new maps, seldom seen pictures and updated text).

| Guy de Lusignan bought the island from our very own Richard the Lionheart. To get some simple background on Guy then check out that film, 'The Kingdom of Heaven' starring Orlando Bloom. I believe that Hilarion became his summer residence eventually. Although he ruled from Nicosia. |

| Thats a great idea DC. I should have thought of that. stick in Crowe,Fiennes and a few others oh yeah dont forget the love aspect for thefemale audience. How about the one from 'Atonement'. I think I should write to Ridley Scott and suggest it as his new blockbuster. |
