Sorry - I know this question has been posted before but it takes a while to go back through. Would welcome recommendation one I remember is Naomi. Another was an advocate in Kyrenia who is not affiliated with any esate agents or developers the threads but cannot remember the name.

Is there ay way on the site of bookmarking particular thread

Many thanks

Interesting that these 2 posts are a month apart, and not a single recommend in the timeframe.

Actually think that if he had put which lawyers should I avoid, he might have got a better response.

Simple answer, do not trust any of them. An old saying from UK - they all eat from the same trough.

You mention one name who I originally thought was one of the good guys but it now transpires (through the grapevine) they are working behind the scenes with at least one estate agent.

In fact would not trust any in UK either, they are in business to earn money!!

A reliable TC estate agent and notary is all you need to buy a property. Why waste £1000-plus when it should cost you no more than a couple of hundred? How many of these "advocates" have law degrees and practising certificates? Which jurisdiction are they licenced to operate in? If any? How many of them have been struck off in the UK?

Sorry Jane,

should have looked at your member information first. The best place to get an advocate recommendation is to contact the HBPG. Good Luck
