Went to bed in Cyprus & woke up in England I think! Forecast I use (Accuweather) says warm, sunny & 25c today! it's windy, wet & my orribul plastic garden furniture has blown all over the place. Oh well, it is only February but don't we quickly get used to the warm weather!

You got up too early, Maggie! Weather lovely here in Girne at 7.45! Hope it is as hot as byesterday as I plan to take a book and sit by the pool. More snow fell in England yesterday. Birmingham Airport is closed. Count your blessings! My glass is difinitely half full! x

I certainly do count my blessings Sheila! and you're right! sun's up now and wind's dropping - just got a bit of a shock at 6.30 it had obviously been quiet stormy overnight up here. I need to go look outside when I get up to decide if it's an inside job day or an outside job day! no rest for the wicked! enjoy your book by the pool. x

Here's an update for you -

If you think that was windy, wait for Sunday night!

I've just had a look at 'Windguru' and it's forcasting Westerly Winds gusting up to Gale Force 9,

I reckon all our patio furniture is going to end up in the Karpaz...

Or Syria!
