Does anyone know where to get Air bricks and how much they cost, not installing them as my husband can do this himself.

Thanks

Not a scooby doo what a sky hook is, but all our Levels have perfectly good bubbles thank you and should not need replacing for a good few years.

Are you talking about single ventilation bricks that are installed in an existing wall or the 'Bimblock' type bricks that are supposed to trap air and provide insulation within a concrete and plaster wall?

We are looking for Single ventilation bricks that will help to circulate the air in each room to help with the prevention of damp and mould.

I know people that have had plastic vents put into their walls which will achieve the same result. Do you have double glazing? If so do you have 'night vents' installed on all of your windows? If so then the chances are that 'air bricks' will not solve your problem. If you have no 'night vents' installed on your DG windows then you can ask to have them fitted by the DG company or revert to ventilation bricks or vents in the wall.

Hi. air bricks will not solve your problem, as not enough ventilation is achieved.

in summer you dont have probs with damp and mould, its the winter... for ventilation as mentioned in msg 7, we offer energy A vents (of many kinds) which can push enough air into your house to avoid damp and mould. much better would be to push WARM air into the house as relative humidity falls and effect will be much better, plus, your home gets heated.. we offer solar air collectors which are designed exactly for this purpose...

Thank you for all the info.

Alsancak Jack re Msg 7, i have been looking into 'night vents' or trickle vents i don't suppose you know where i can get these, i have tried looking at DG websites here in the north but can't seem to find any info on them.

Thanks
