I know the schools are on holiday tomorrow, does this affect the banks opening.

tuesday regard Friday as a bank holiday.

Yes, tomorrow is Bayram for all government depts inc. banks. It's to celebrate the Prophet Mohammed's birthday which is today, though they start celebrating from this evening I was told today.
