My friend wanted me to enter his details on facebook. For some reason I forgot the email address which I registered him down as so now he cannot sign in or edit his details. I believe there is no way these details can be learnt. Can we start afresh or will facebook recognise his details as soon as i enter his name? Im not good at facebook myself I have to say.

re register as Fb will only know him by his email address. You can only register him by his current email address as that is how the account is set up by receiving a reply and reference to that acount.

Surely he knows what email address you used! He probably got a welcome to facebook email in return. Or did you set up a new one for him and forget that? If so.... DOH!

yep Groucho I sure did. Ok I will re register him with another new email. However he is not happy and wants his current one deleted as he didnt realise personal details are visible to everyone - but nothing I can do now.

You can set it up so that personal details are only visable to friends. Dont ask me how as I just sat and played around with it and found it.

No one can see your facebook unless you invite them on as your friends...What is it about facebook that people do not like..Its great for keeping intouch with friends and family...If your friends choose to show your page to their friend you cant help that, but others cant get on or see anything..Can you not set them up all over again.email, and password..his old page will just sit unused..But no one will be able to see anything..and it seems he has nothing to see on it.!! oh and no one can even see his email details either... So whats up. )))) Spider,X
