Hello everyone,



Cine Miles Restaurant & Bar would like to invite you to a really special night out at 'The Oscars', next Sunday, 7th March from 6pm til late.



Free food will be available throughout the evening, so make sure you don't eat before you come! There will be two live music acts aswel as competitions and other movie-themed extras providing entertainment throughout the night.



Red-Carpet formal dress code is a must, as the ‘paparazzi’ will be out in force at the end of our Red Carpet.



This really is going to be an unforgettable event and the only one like it in northern Cyprus. YOU are going to be treated like a Hollywood Star for the night.

After a fantastic performance last Wednesday night, we have decided to get Emma Marie in for Oscars evening too. She has promised to throw in a few movie classics on the evening, which should be really good. There will also be a popular live Turkish band playing.

How long is the red carpet at the Oscars award ceremony at the Kodak Theatre?



Who is the biggest 'loser' of the Oscars? i.e. who has been nominated the most but never won??

Sorry Michelle, the biggest loser of the Oscars so far is a sound technician named Kevin O’Connell. He's been nominated 19 times, most recently for “Apocalypto,” and has never won!

BUT Peter O’Toole holds the record for most ACTING nominations - 8 - without a win....so I think you can possibly have that



Also the red carpet is a massive 500 feet long! Unfortunately ours wont quite be THAT long, but still lots of fun to walk down.





Ok....another question...

Who has hosted the Oscars the most times?

As for BRT filming the whole thing I honestly can not say; however, after they get a taste of the event, I can see them being there quite a while! I may have a word with them to do a few interviews on the Red Carpet also...

It is shaping up to be a very special event. As you say, its not easy thinking up new and refreshing ideas/themes, but with the Oscars just around the corner, we felt this would be the perfect time to have such an occasion.
