As you probably know, I am Izzet.

I am the owner of Cyprus44 website and manage the forums too.

Yes, rental apartments are also accepted although the rental demand is not as high as villas with private pools.

a private pool is not neccesary, but most people demand it so if you have one, it's good

I emailed myself from a different email account from a different hosting company, it worked fine.



I also got some 20 villa emails, so it is working!

i would prefer a long term rental rather than holiday let but would consider it

I would hope to be you first customer. We look for villa rental long term in between catalkoy and karalanoglu. Three bedroom with a swimming pool please. we currently rent a house in catalkoy which must end in august.

if you find such house then maybe you email me. it is good you set this service up now.

many such people fear to buy house, rent is best way.

Just a question that you may know the answer to... If owners are renting their villas via your own website (or any other method), how is the 10% tax paid to the TRNC government? The rules state that the owner needs to pay in person the month after rental; do you know a way this can be dealt with as most owners who are renting are obviously not in the country??

This is something that's been puzzling me but as our villa is finally (almost) complete, I may need to find out how to deal with this little spanner that's been thrown into the works recently!

It is the owner's legal responsibility to pay the tax on the rental.



As the villa rental company, we pay our VAT and income tax every month over the profit we make from each rental.

I know the tax is a legal responsibility of the owner! That's why I was just asking if you happen to know how owner's manage to make this tax payment with the rule that it is paid in person the month after rental? Not your problem or responsibility, I know that, I

We have purchased in NC with long term tenants in situ, but still live in London, probably for the next 2 years.



We have given POA to our Management Company who, as part of the contract, make the monthly tax payments on our behalf.
