Far as i know he has allways worked in Barnoldswick until he retired

jardap, sorry to hijack your thread, but the tilte reminded me of an artice about Rolls in a mag years ago.

The writer was reporting on work at a Rolls factory, and he commented that in the testing area, the loudest sound was coming from the tick tick tick of the clock on the wall. The management wrote back to him and said if he could let them know which clock it was, they would get one of their engineers to sort it!!!!

Well it made me laugh at the time.
