At 24, I guess you be needing to work, so residency is not what you need a work permit is.. you don't get both.

you would need a letter from her stating that you are living with her but you must stress that you are not paying rent. It must then be taken to a notary before you go to the police immigration.

Messages 2 & 3 - Isn't that the purpose of the Muhtar's 'letter'?

KP A Muhtar's letter won't suffice for a Work Permit application but it will for residency. As you don't get both and I'm assuming Keiran is intending to support himself I still think he will a work permit.

It maybe better no to seek the work permit first,as they may not let you stay..Get signed conformation of the place you are staying and this should be enough..good luck. Spider,x

If you want a work permit, surely you must have work here in the north. If you want temp. residency, then you must have money to support yhourself. Or, you will have to come and go every three months, assuming you get stmaped in the passport property, and the best way todo this is to go to Turkey or anywhere other than the south! I think there seems to be confusion as to what is required, but you can't have feet in two camps. Which camp are you aiming for. L Hope you sort it all out.
