Does anyone know if TRNC tax would have to be paid if salary from a job in the Middle East was paid into a TRNC bank account? My old man is considering a job in Qatar and is wondering if it would be better to be paid into UK bank or TRNC one? anyone have experience of this sort of thing? Thanks

No is the answer. The money is not earned in the TRNC so no tax is due.
