I have been trying to contact Donaghy and Beyler. Have sent two emails - no reply and tried a number to times to call their Girne number but also no reply. Can anyone help - are they still open or trading?

Gil, modesty is not normally an Estate agent trait !

Me thinks Donaghy & Beyler are riding "the wave". They won 2 awards at a recent TRNC Estate agency ceremony - TOP ESTATE AGENT & SALES TEAM, well done to all at D&B, keep up the good work !!

The only reason these estate agents/developers/builders won these awards is because they nominated themselves and paid a fee to the organisers. They were not fair awards voted for by the customers. Just another self promotion idea.

yes people who where there said it was a bit of a 'farce' - seems D&B and SeaTerra won mostly everything - could it be that there advertising spends are the biggest perhaps?!

PIPIE - you could, if it was up to date (!!!) see it all on their website - this link takes you there, but they haven't published results yet.

Credit where credit is due. Not everyone in the building/estate agency industry are robbers! I have only heard good things about Seaterra and Donaghy & Beyler so well done to them for winning.

i would agree, apart from the fact that we live in a place where greasing palms is done as obviously as recognising your own reflection in the mirror - sometimes its too obvious!

however, if all was done fair and square I will repent my words!

Come on guys plenty of people here have recommended Donaghy and Beyler so it doesn't really matter about the awards. I too will add that they provided a great service to us when we were buying and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Hi everyone, interesting post here! The agents you mentioned are indeed some of the better ones here on the island...but you must still carry out all your own due diligence as you would in the UK.

As an investment broker we act on your behalf, unlike an estate agent who works for the buyer. We have been in property in the UK for 25 years and North Cyprus for the last 8 years. If anyone needs free advice on anything to do with buying in Cyprus, planning and developing, land issues, mortgages, insurance, project managing and property management please feel free to browse our site: http://www.3ipropertypartners.com and if you have any questions drop us a line for a chat and I would be happy to help you (free!) on any advice you need.

Good luck!

We had major hiccup in TRNC last week and Hayat Beyler saved the day and stopped us having a disasterous holiday!
