Ever seen a Shrew in Cyprus?

Yesterday evening, our pussycat brought us a Shrew - unfortunately it was already dead. That's the second Shrew I've seen in our garden - I never saw one in the South in over 20 years. The last one, I saved its little life - it had fallen into the swimming pool and gone into the skimmer - luckily, the pump was off. We put it in a plant pot with cotton wool and left it in a quiet place - after a few hours it was gone - we didn't have a cat then!



The Shrew is smaller than a house-mouse - I've taken several photos, but can't post here.

If you had put soil in the pot you may have grown a shrub !!!

I bring many of them into the house for Hippo, i do it to anoy him, i also bring in lizards locusts and i once brought in a snake ,Mrs H was not the best pleased.

Yep we have one in Arapkoy...my neighbour lol. Her husband should have tamed her though lol.. ))))

Yes my next door neighbour! she lives in Safacoy Bogaz and is the biggest shrew I have ever seen!
