I have already posted a version of this question before. I am coming to NC next week and hoping to hire bikes for the duration of our stay in Girne. A forum member kindly suggested NC Yellow Pages. I rang one of the firms listed a number of times and there was no reply. The other company listed is outside Girne, charges to deliver and has rather smart mountain bikes at £10 a day which is rather more than we wanted to pay. I just want road bikes particularly one ladies bike to pootle round Girne and maybe cycle to a local beach - if the roads are flatish. Apparently there was a bike hire place near the harbour but it has gone. It has been suggested buying secondhand at an auction - any thoughts on that. what day of the week would the auction be and what day the viewing? I feel there must be some bikes available somewhere and would be very grateful if anyone can help.

they don't advertise that they have bikes, but sure someone got one from there the other day.

Also there is an English man who has a company called The Bike Shop somewhere in Karaoglaoglu, but I really can't remember where - sorry.

They hire the bikes daily or weekly and will deliver to villas and hotels.
