| There might still be dampness in the walls, then paint would just peel off after a while. Leave it till it gets warmer. Then it'll be too hot to paint )) Navek |

| You can: - scrape the old stuff off - wash the affected area with cleaner/sugar soap. - rinse off any soap/residue with clean water - let it dry - rub it lightly with sandpaper - paint area with damp proof paint (if not available use gloss paint) let it dry - rub down lightly to buff surface - then emultion over the affected area then look at the nice smile you get from her indoors!!!! |

| it takes at least 2 months for a damp wall to dry out enough for re-painting... any sooner and you are just wasting your time and sealing in the damp.. which will rise further up the wall. |
