If the UK house is empty its a problem the insurers will not cover it

It it is let there is landlords insurance and where the landlord lives should not matter use a relative in the uk for a postal address if you are going the landlord route or the managing agent of the property

I don't have a house in UK now, it is 7 years since I did. But when it was empty th only way I could get insurance, contents and building, was by fitting an approved silent alram that dialled the polis in the event o a break in. A bird got in once down the chimney and set it off - the polis charged me £57 for a false alarm.
