| Yes, I know it is hard to believe! We tried a really great Chinese place last weekend. It is called Shanghai, and is just off the main road to Girne from the west at the Jasmine Court hotel, so very central.
There were 16 of us - the food was fantastic, plenty of it, and the service was first rate. Set meals were 35 or 44TL, or just a main course (chicken) was 20TL plus 6TL for fried rice. Drink prices were very reasonable - 4TL for bottle Carlsberg, 25TL for bottle wine (Angorra). |

| do they do take away? and did they have sweet and sour dishes? and was it close to chinese food in the uk? |

| Sorry I am late replying
- yes they do take away;
- I didn't notice sweet and sour on the menu;
- 'close to chinese in UK?' - hard to say - I suppose it depends what you usually get! But it was definitely the tastiest Chinese I've had here. |

| Calamity,didnt look down our end of the table we had sweet and sour chicken as part of a fixed meal
and it was very good.in fact the whole meal was very enjoyable.Along with excellent service it made for a good night out.
It is the one near the jasmine Court,handy if you fancy a trip to the casino afterwards |

| If you are looking for really good chinese takeaway try the one in the next car park to Lemar going into Girne.
Not too expensive and plentiful.
Their sweet and sour fish is great. They use sea bass. |
