| In the bathroom the button you push up and down on the tap to direct water to the shower or bath is now so stiff it is difficult to move. My natural inclination to ease something is to put some oil on it, but I suspect that is not appropriate in this case. Advice on what to do would be appreciated. |

| Is it possibly a build up of limescale? If so the supermarkets sell bottles of a liquid that can be used to clean kettles etc and I've found it works wonders on bathroom taps. Can't remember what it's called but in the cleaning aisle look for a white bottle with a picture of a turkish style stainless steel teapot/kettle on it. Hope that helps! |
