Never never put northern cyprus!!! Some POs do deliver but its safer to get a box - there are some at Lapta. then its Name, Box No., Lapta, nr Girne, Mersin 10, Turkey. Before you get a box it can be sent c/o the Post office, lots of people do that, just go in and check with them if you have mail. then also check if they deliver to your particular street. By the way - its Turkey as mail with Cyprus on envelope goes to the south side and doesnt come back. So definitely no TRNC anywhere on envelope!! Mind you it still may not come even with the proper address (as above) mail is very iffy here at times!!

Any thing posted from the uk should be addressed with house number street name then Lapta Mersin 10 Turkey. Do not put northern cyrus. It is very hard to get a po box now they all seem to be taken. Also post in brown envelopes seems to arrive whereas white envelopes go missing. Why ?? This is Cyprus. Good luck.

The simple answer, Newguy, is don't rely on it!

If we have important mail or parcels to send overseas, we simply park the car near the Lockmaci border crossing point in Lefkosa and walk across to the first post office on the Greek side, which is just a few paces across the border on your left hand side. Then we generally stroll up to Debenhams...
