Looking to buy a fairly inexpensive barbeque - is it best to bring one from UK or are prices good in TRNC. Cheers

They sell the same quality ones you get in the UK in the south... Super home Centre. If you bring a gas one from the UK the regulator won't fit the gas bottles here. They can be bought from most supermarkets and DIY shops, cost 20 - 25TL and easy to fit.

Charcoal (beach style BBQ's) can be found in most supermarkets and yapi markets and cost very little. Safer with gas in the summer as sparks from a charcoal one can cause a lot of damage!! Chris

Bought mine over from UK, cost in south £500, cost in UK £135 same thing ,stainless 4 grill, rotisserie, griddle plate ,ring etc , weighs 65kgs so tested my logistics skills to the extreme and a few strange looks from customs man at Ercan.Took 3 trips already planned and not a penny of excess baggage paid , next is a wooden hammock 15 ft ,but it breaks down into three pieces and at a mere 45 kgs a walk in the park lol
