I apologise in advance as would probably suspect this question may have been asked before, but I need a quick answer as we are packing tonight ready to fly out Friday, on our E-ticket it says luggage allowance 25kg but on the Pegasus web site it says limit for tourists to Cyprus 20kg, and as "Er indoors" wont be satisfied until the kitchen sink disappears into a suitcase, not to mention the donkey what has to carry this lot, is there any kind person that can guide me on this, and are they very hot at the check-in if you are a little over, urgent answers pleeeeeeeeeease

Your e-ticket is correct 25kg is the allowance as we have just done the same journey and I was charged for being 4kg overweight (29kg) Nick

Hi Chelpet. I'm not 100% sure but it would be 20kg for your suitcase and 5kg for your hand-luggage?! Hope you find out and are not charged excess for that kitchen sink! (although the donkey will be pleased if its left behind!) Chrisie

Peter & Cherie forget the kitchen sink you can get one at your destination. You are departing when pegasus were offering 25Kg in the hold but later fliers will be restricted to 20Kg. You hand baggage used to be restricted to 5Kg but I think is now up to 8 Kg. Do remember to mark all bags well and clearly in and out but do not give full destination or departure addresses (mobile numbers for both ends are very good). And yes you are right it has been asked before. By the way - be careful of inflamables, acids etc in the hold as airlines are getting far more strict these days

Linda Msg 7 - it might depend on where you are travelling through or from. 30Kg is the rule for some countries. You all seem to have different thoughts - if you go to your agent who sold you your tickets they should know and advise you. If not beware being overweight it costs a lot and is your responsibility. If you are buying travel from us as agents we tell you for any ticket you purchase what the rules including weight etc are before we sell you your ticket - it's the only correct way to behave. If you do not know then ask your agent and if you have bought direct look at your ticket or call the airline.

Surely if the E-ticket states 25Kg you could argue the toss on check-in?! Hand luggage weight has always been an enigma to me, weighed in at correct weight then purchase 3 bottles of liquor at the duty free shop and then way over the allowance! Richard

g noname - Msg 17 Yes you need to get hold of them as they can refuse boarding if the title is wrong - at present you do not need a middle name just first and family. Make your life easy next time and come to us at IAH. http://www.flightholiday.co.uk

Hi Tom (message 13) I have booked 47 flights for this year for our friends and family and I booked all direct through the Pegasus website. We are all flying out at different times and all from Stansted. I booked all within 6 weeks of each other so not sure what to believe as all our tickets say between 20 and 30 kgs. It's just a pity that mine say only 20 though. Linda

Message 17. I also did this - twice! I phoned Pegasus and they changed it - no problem. They have been very good. Our friends also asked me to book for George. We later found out that his name is Georgie. Again they changed it with no bother.
