Car hire (again!!!)

Hi



Its another question about car hire (sorry guys!).



Someone said to me the other day that they hired a car that had offices in the south and north. Surely if this is the case then you would be covered fully comprehensive because the hire companies would offer fully comp insurance at each office wouldn't they? (like most other companies?).



Can someone please please clarify this point as we are forking out £100 return for our taxi and then paying another amount for car hire when it seems silly we dont hire a car in the south drive north and save money!!!
