If you are not taking part in the Car Treasure hunt, why not pop down to Park Cafe on 11th April from 10a.m. onwards to try out the new market.



Go and take a look and have a sit and chat over coffee or tea (v ery reasonable prices and good coffee - I know cos I am an 'addict'.)



Not sure what stalls will be there (unless Dot tells me) and I can post that later, but if you live out that way, it is a good way to spend an hour on a Sunday morning.

It's also the walk from Kozan to Karsiyaka school for cancer reasearch,which had to be postponed back in February.

Dot and Helen are aware that the first date clashes with two major events, but, they decided to start anyway. The latest is that there will be only about 10 stalls and space to sit and chat, as it will be inside. They will gradually increase and move outside as the weather improves.



As to where Cafe Park is, - travelling from Lapta to Karsiyaka you will reach the 'village square' on the right with the turn off to the village on the left. Cafe Park is right on the road at the square.



This will be small beginnings, but I think it could prove of good value to Karsiyaka area. I know that markets come and go, but Dot and Helen have quite a bit of experience now.



Oh, and for what it is worth - they do an excellent coffee for a really good price.

As long as it is 'successful' it will be every week. They will certainly give it a go, and obviously the more support they get the more viable, and the longer it will last.
