Fıkrı has now fınıshed hıs refurbıshment at Tanners Secret Terrace and everyone ıs welcome for tradıtıonal Cyprıot , European a la Carte menu and Bar snacks or just a drınk at the bar or on the terrace. A lovely spot by the sea wıth a warm welcome from nıce people. Pool table has just been added.

Tanners Secret Terrace Karakum just below the old Soho lounge.

I can highly recomend Tanners Secret Terrace exellent food good service and nice people what more could you ask ?

Coming from Girne, turn left just after Marshalls. The are signs on the main road. Would recommend Tanners. Food is very good & Fikri is very friendly & helpful.

Tanners my local, excellent, very friendly and helpful................stay just opposite so no riff raff and keep the noise down would you, after all it is a beautiful unspoilt part of Cyprus and i certainly dont want it changing now.

We are out on the 18th April and can't wait to enjoy the fantastic food and hospitality provided by Fikri.

Thanks for the directions but still not sure..........so if you come from Girne and Marshalls is on your left you are turning down to the sea side and not the mountain side....Thanks again

Does Tanner himself still run this place or has he handed it over to someone else. Sorry do not know the name Fikri only knew Tanner and his wife and only saw his children a couple of times as they were at University when I was there. Nice little place and surroundings.

Hi Mark and Fikri



I have just been reading your other posting Mark, where you go down memory lane with music.



Why not incorporate this idea into a weekly music night at the restaurant.



People can book in advance and request their song/music choice perhaps even giving a little history as to why it's a favourite etc.



You could then have "A music menu" for the evening could be great fun and you could use this Forum to update everyone as to what music is featuring in advance.

Thanx Doug I am flattered but I think I have given the wrong impression, I am just a customer and friend of Fikri and of course i provide him with my wines, I used his computer there the other day and accidently left it logged on so when Fikri wrote on the post, it was under my name.

I will however suggest the music idea to him but will add his choice and collection of tunes is really very good already
