Hello everyone I am proud to be opening the Sunset Marine Pub's summer season this Saturday 3rd April ! The bar opens at 5pm and entertainment starts at 7pm with the great Mr Rodeo playing country rock n roll with the kibris Linedancers. I will be playing a great selection of new stuff from Queen,Status Quo,Bon Jovi,Police and Floyd just to name a few at about 9pm. We are holding an "air guitar" competition as I know there are many of you out there who play regularly infront of the mirror (air guitar that is) with a great prize for the winner of a jet ski session and champagne for the runner up ! so get practicing. There are free Kebabs between 6-8pm sound like fun ! thanks Barry

Sounds like it will be a great evening,see you there,i wonder if kibris liners are going to dance to one of your tracks!!

Watcha Dave, I leave "air guitar" to the experts and look forward to everyone having a go as I think it will be great laugh ! I have seen a couple of the line dancers having a rock about and they do it very well ! am playing a lot of "up tempo" dancy stuff saturday so hope to get a good crowd in for Un and Dilek see ya there !

Loose boots.......follow the main road from girne to Lapta, it is before the 'Lapta Strip' on your right hand side,

(sea side) the turning is opposite the Almond Holiday Village. There is a blackboard on the road turning, with Barry and Mr Rodeo on it, it is also just before Alshaheens Indian Restaurant. There is a sign for sunset. It is a big smiley face!!!!

Thanks JohhnyLee your comments are very much appreciated and we all had a good evening ! doing it all again next saturday with some new songs and some more favourites from Queen,Gary Moore, Pink Floyd,and a real surprise Lionel Richie ! a very unusual version of Tainted Love and David Bowies Jean Genie that went down a storm last week ! I do all my own backing tracks with the help of some great musicians from the UK mostly keyboards ( please note "brighteyes" ) as my choice of musicians here is very limited to form a band !! really hope we can all perform together at the Pia Bella for that little lads arm bless him ! cheers Barry

Angelgirl thank you, yes there again this saturday starting a little earlier and some new stuff although have been asked to do the queen medley aagin and believe it or not status quo but dont tell the lads back ome !!!! the "free kebabs" are not my backing group but will be served between 6 and 8 pm again they were very popular and such a nice gesture from the owners Un and Dilek along with great drink prices which remained the same throughout the night !!! hope to see you there also thanks to moonoverwater hope you can make it next saturday cheers all Barry
