Been going to TRNC for many years . Aphrodite was always an experience, but while basic the food was genrally good. the atmosphere eccentric probably the best description. After an 'interlude' when others operated it, the Owner Cemal has returned.

What a deterioration.

Even though booked for a meal, table of 4, the service, and food, was appalling !

Meze of 2 dishes only, all Olives, and 21/4 hours later still waiting for the Fish. " fish is coming" has a hollow ring after several hours ! Asked Cemal why he was 'punishing his Customers with his face' as he uses this about close rivals. He had no answer. So sad when the Donkey Man becomes an ASS.
