I have never been fascinated with the game and have always sat in the kitchen while my husband and friends watch a game, I think they all support cim bom, I however prefer the blue and yellow of Fenerbahce but my husband doesn't know that!



Last nights game was incredible if only the result had been different, the Turkish players who had apparently husband speak "not a chance in the world", wife speak "I thought it was just in Europe" showed such passion and to reach the semi-finals was an achievement in itself. Well done TURKIYE

This is a fantastic achievement. This is what it is all about the spirit, passion and love of football which has won. Everone won last night.



They have shown their belief and got the admiration of the whole world.

Today in all the world papers it is the good football, Turkish team and the enjoyable games they have given to the world to watch that is being talked about.

Turkey has certainly won respect for it's attacking style and never say die attitude. It's a shame they were not able to field their strongest 11. Must have been frustrating but they didn't moan and got on with it.

By the way, did I see Talat next to Gul in the stadium or were my eyes playing tricks with me.

Playing tricks, If Talat was carrying that much weight the food shortage crisis would have hit the TRNC a long time ago!
