I've asked that question twice to no avail.

The suggestions have been that the A/C unit has a dehumidifier option and another suggested a website that is UK based. I move over in two weeks. I guess the next question would be, can we order from an UK company and will it get delivered. I resolved just to wait until I got there. But since you brought it up again...

Hi...as previous replies.....standalone dehimds not available in NC...have already tried

Checkout your AC unit.....using heating option to dry out...use dehimd option ( tear drop ) to get rid of excess water.....suggest..as i did....leave heater on all night...then in morning open all windows all day

An ac unit with dehimd facility in NC is cheaper than a decent dehimdifier in the uk

Baydweller, please send info to me as well! Maybe we will have a bidding war on hand! minspin14@yahoo.com thx.

Treesy, it occurred to me that this thread may be helpful as well. I forgot to mention in my earlier post that Mr Pound sells a closet satchel that either is or works like DampRid.

I bought the last one at Arcelik in Kyrenia, but the man at Bloomberg said that if we wanted one he has a friend in the UK who will purchase one and bring it out in a van along with other furniture etc.

Your a/c should have a dehum facility and you should try it. Make sure all doors windows are closed.
