| The recently-launched "Medieval Cyprus Fellowship" (MCF) aims at studying, promoting and helping to preserve the medieval remains of Northern Cyprus. Membership (free of charge) is open to anyone, whether citizen, resident, visitor or living abroad, with an interest in the subject. The Fellowship is non-commercial and non-profit making. Some of the planned activities include: • Readings on special subjects, by local and international experts • Historical Tours (city walks, castles, abbeys etc) in small groups, with a licensed guide • Regular gatherings • Regular Newsletters, via email • Investigations and research, particularly on less well documented areas of interest • International information exchanges with historians, scientists and students in TRNC & abroad • Contacts with incoming tourists to promote the many medieval remains in TRNC • Communication with "Friends of the Museums" in Nicosia • Communication with The General Management of Antiquities and Museums in Nicosia (Eski Eserler ve Müzeler Dairesi Müdürlügü) • Notification of events organised by the above and other organizations • Members are welcome to suggest other activities of interest You are kindly invited to apply for membership (free of charge but subject to approval) If you want to be informed about forthcoming activities: mail your name to the below mentioned email address and you will be added to the mailing list.
