| We did not know about the alchol ban today because of the elections. I read about it in Cyprus today. Are restaurants still opening for sunday lunch or waiting until the 6pm deadline.We are open but it will be alchol free until the allowed time x |

| perhaps if the authorities spent as much effort in banning booze on election day as they did cleaning uop the beaches and dumped builders shite........ Well you know the rest.... |

| Lilli I noticed The Hut had a sign saying they were only selling soft drinks today until after the election, but it didnt say it was shut today |

| Liz as far as I know it is only illegal to sell booze today. Not sure how this would go but could the customers not bring their own wine / beer up until 6 pm. You could charge a small amount of 'corkage'. There is always a way round things like this! Chris p.s. Lots of Australian restaurants have a BYO policy, saves them money and time applying for a drinks license, and it works there. |

| Hi Lilli, we are still opening, but not serving beer until 6, we did the same last year, however, there are many people that dont stick to it, which makes it difficult to explain to customers, especially when they have been elsewhere being served.... always best to stick to the rules...
