| I would ring the immigration office 0392 611 1022. We have 'permanent' residency as we had done 5 years 'temporary' residency (which that has now changed as I have been informed that 6 years is the minimum before you can apply for permanent residency) and were told then by the immigration office (at the above tel number) that we would have to wait for a further 5 years before we could apply however there was then no guarantee that we would get citizenship after this date as the government were turning down applications at that time. Give the number a call, there is bound to be someone who can speak english or alternatively call into the office next time you are in Lefkosa. Let us know how you get on! |
