Medical Treatment for cancer here in the TRNC

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has been treated for cancer (especially Lymphoma here in the TRNC. Until recently I have been treated in the UK but the logistics involved are becoming a problem. My Lymphoma has just relapsed again - experiences/recommendations please.

There is an Oncology dept at Nicosia General Hospital. Also at the Near East University there is a hospital Faculty that even has the equipent for radio therapy. I don't have contact numbers but it maybe worth your while going to both places and speaking to someone there, Good luck

A friend was diagnosed with cancer in Dec 2008. Had treatment at Lefkosia General and was given the all clear after about 10 months chemotherapy. If you go there, make sure you have your pink/blue residency book. Best of luck.

They have an excellent oncology unit at Lefkosa hospital, but unfortunately they don't have a resident Oncologist so could mean trips to Turkey!
